D.H. BHARAT SEVASRAM SANGHA PRANAB VIDYAPITH (H.S) (Diamond Harbour, South 24 Pgs., 743331, Ph. No. - 9083293040) a recognized Government Sponsored Higher Secondary Bengali Medium Boys’ School affiliated to WBBSE & WBCHSE, run by BHARAT SEVASHARAM SANGHA under Special Rules, enjoys autonomy in respect of recruiting teaching & non-teaching staff in the school, Vide Memo No. 371 – SE/S/10M – 315/2012, Dated: 19.02.2013 and 581 – SE(S) 10M – 315/12, Dated: 24.06.2015. The school is going to recruit non-teaching staff in one permanent post as detailed below, abiding by Special procedure of selection/Rules issued by Govt. of W.B for Certain Notified Schools.

Eligibility :-

1) An applicant must be the citizen of India.

2) Essential Qualification Required: Every candidate must have a minimum class VIII pass qualification having pursued ‘Bengali’ as 1st or 2nd or 3rd language in the school level.

3) Age: Minimum 18 years as on 01.01.2019. Maximum 40 years as on 01.01.2019 for General Category.

Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable for by 5 years for S.C/S.T, 3 years for O.B.C (both A & B category), 8 years for physically handicapped.

Method of selection (A.T) :-

Selection consists of two Phases.

Phase - 1

A written examination will be conducted and it will contain two parts:


Subject (25 marks) – Syllabi: - General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General English and Arithmetic. There shall be 25 Questions of MCQ type one mark each and no negative marks will be there.

Part–II: (15 marks) - Value based education and knowledge about BHARAT SEVASHRAM SANGHA. There shall be 15 Questions of MCQ type one mark each and no negative marks will be there.

Duration of Exam.-Total 60 minutes allotted for Part-I & Part–II Examination.

Phase - 2: A short list of the candidates will be prepared based on the marks secured in the written test for calling interview when a candidate’s personality will be tested on 10 marks of which 5 will be for general viva – voce and 5 will be for the assessment of the depth of knowledge of the candidate in his own field of work.

Fees of Exam: Rs.200/-.

Distribution of Form: Application Forms will be available from School Office on Payment of the said amount in cash, during the period from 11.03.19 (Monday) to 19.03.19 (Tuesday) between 12.00 noon to 2.00 P.M.

Submission of filled up Forms: Application Forms duly filled in are to be submitted in School Office (12.00 noon to 4.00 P.M. on all working days, except Saturday, up to 2.00 P.M.)

Last date of submission of Application is 19.03.19 up to 2.00 P.M.

Scale of pay: - As admissible as per Govt. Rules and as per latest ROPA.

General Information: Willing candidates shall have to apply to the Secretary in prescribed form along with:

a) Three recent passport size colour photographs (one to be pasted on the Application Form and other two to be stapled at the left corner of Application Form).

b) A self addressed envelope (25c.m X 11 c.m) with PIN Code.

c) Self attested photo copy of class VIII pass certificate (2 copies).


Self attested photo copy of admit Card of M.P, Mark Sheet of M.P, Certificate of M.P (each 2 copies).

d) Self attested photo copy of Caste Certificate (2 copies if applicable).

e) Self attested photo copy of any one of the following documents (2 copies). EPIC, AADHAAR CARD, PASSPORT, PAN CARD, DRIVING LICENSE, PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED CERTIFICATE issued by the appropriate authority.

f) No T.A will be paid to the candidate for appearing at written Examination and personality test.

g) Appearance before the Selection Committee for Personality Test is mandatory.

h) Use of Calculator/Mobile Phone/Log Table or any Electronic Gadgets in written test is strictly prohibited.

i) Incomplete / incorrect application shall be cancelled by the Selection Committee.

j) Language of Question paper: Question will be set in Bengali only.

The candidature of a staff of a school shall not be considered, if he/she at the time of interview fails to produce a ‘NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE’ from the Secretary of the school authority.
